Well, Hello There!

This is a brand new blog gracing the cyberwaves in Northern California. We'll touch on fun community events, politics, current newsworthy topics, local history, good people doing good things in our community and oddball kitsch.  Hmmm, sounds like a blog that used to kick around these parts back in the day.  This time, it's a duo with female and male perspectives.  Look out, it's sure to be quite colorful on occasion.  Thanks for checking us out!

If you are who I think you are....I'm excited. And if you aren't who I think you are...hi. But I think you are who I think you are. So I'm excited.

Well.... You've made some awfully good choices in your “My Blog List”. So I’m going to have to give you a chance.

Unlike Kristabel, I don’t know who I think you are, but I am excited. I’m interested in anything local, historic, or witty. I’m only local and historic, so you are already doing better than me. Don't worry, even if I gues who you are, I won't reveal it this time...

Welcome to the local Blogosphere. I added you to my listings.

All we can say is, Rio Dell makes a fine place for a picnic.

Funny...I followed the link from Planet Taps before I saw you'd left one at CCX. It turns out that my suspicions were, indeed, correct.

I'm raising a glass of Jones green apple soda right now. Welcome back, my friend. And welcome to the other editor. I can't wait to get to know you!

Oh, you think you know, but we are as secretive as that fellow over at the Herald.

Ha! We have pulled the wool over everyone's eyes. Suckers!

Damn it!

Maybe the "Editor" could be lured out with a marshmallow wienie and cheese casserole? This is almost as much fun as sucker fishing.

Kate will have no talk about the marshmallow and cocktail wienie casserole. That happened a long, long time ago and I promised her no mention of succulent....(drool)....delectable....(pant, pant)...low brow foods in this blog.

My welcome is a little late, but a new blog is always a nice sight around here. I look forward to being a regular, that is if you will have me.

Boy, you have been considered had.

For what it's worth, the battle of wits between Spencer and Hepburn was strictly movie dialog. In real life she was a devoted and submissive partner who would never contradict or take a different approach. Evidently this worked well for them, but it is striking that her private life's fulfillment was anything but what her public image was. Garson Kanin's book tells the real story of their relationship from the viewpoint of a long friendship with both.

I really like your blog, but I would omit the explanation of Kate and Spence in your sidebar.

It takes the charm away to have it explained.
I have the same problem with someone giving themselves their own nickname.

However, I do like the blog, especially the Um/ah count.

Nice little place you got here. Welcome and/or welcome back to the blogosphere. My only complaint is that you seem to have left your good friends over on the North Coast Journal blogthingamabob off of your blogroll. What's up with that, did we do something to upset you?

Hi.

Bob....Oh My. That was truly a technical faux pas. Please forgive our mispost in our blogroll. (Yikes)
