If there was a place in Humboldt County where the range of people and ideas co-mingle with left and right beliefs? A place where an art renaissance could occur seemingly overnight? A place where Bay Area escapees could seek refuge without rubbing elbows with late 20's
indoor industrialists? Is there a place in Humboldt County where there is respect for artists and entrepreneurs alike without upsetting the old gaurd? We think there is.
We want to live here.

I love those little pink houses. When Mark and I take night walks I'm constantly trying to look in the windows just to see what they're like inside. It kind of embarrasses him, but I'm obsessed. Please move into one so I can peek through your windows.
Hey, K-Bel, our idea is this: Kate and I want to move into separate units so we can have our own space for our own decorating lifestyles, our own gender specific uses and to have a place to go sulk when necessary. We think you and Mark should think the same way. Each of you have your own individual unit. Sooooo, that means, all four of us will live in our own unit on Park Street. Now, how can we make that happen! Oh yeah, we want each unit to rent for $300 per month, too.

P.S. Kate has a friend in Loleta who says the insides leave much to be desired. But, I think with a DIY makeover party, it would be pretty hip.
What's DIY? Do it yourself? Ha! I would definitely bring in my own decorator, painter, electrician, and contractor for my unit...but you go ahead Spence and do your own...can't wait to see what you come up with! Oh wait...first we have to rent them.
Spence: I told you Kate, a couple of deer heads over here, a Bud Light plastic electric guitar sign, a stolen road sign with bullet holes in it, a cable spool for a coffee table, pine boards on cement blocks to hold my 64" wide screen television, a sofa bed always open and unmade and the main focus: A 6' by 10' velvet Elvis wall hanging purchased from a vendor along the side of the road.
I thought that's what attracted me to you? Hmmm, I may have to rethink this.
Wow - I love that idea! Especially since Mark just moved a bunch of his stuff into our 400 square foot happy hippie shack. There's a tole painted chicken on my shelf - help me! Now I'm going to have to think of all kinds of ways to get the current tenants out. We should probably do some plotting...over chocolate croissants.
Newsflash: 340 Park Street is available for rent.
