Bachelor Uncle and the Spinster Aunt

Thanksgiving is a time when families come together.  Some members you only see once a decade and never really know their life story. Remember when there were unmarried members of the family  you would see at family reunions and other gatherings?
"Mom, who is that old lady?".  "That's your Great-Aunt Kate, dear, she's, well, she's your, um...she's your Spinster Aunt.  Remember how I told you she decided she didn't need a man.  But, we haven't given up hope."

"And, that old man over there...who is he?"  Well, son, that's Great-Uncle Spence.  He was married long, long ago... Now, he lives in the Mother-in-Law unit he calls, The Villa"

Kate, oh my God, they're talking about us!

Why are both of the characters wearing aprons??? If you're not married it means you have to wear an apron? I never wear an apron so it can't be about ME!

That's not an apron. That's a chastity shield. You wouldn't want people talking.
